Controlling Philips Hue smart bulbs with Wear OS still requires third-party apps. There is a new interesting alternative. If you have a smart home with an integrated Hue system and a smartwatch on your arm, this Wear OS app should no longer be missing from your watch.
The app, called Wear Hue, already reveals what this is about with its name. You get convenient access to your Hue lamps right on your wrist.
The functional scope of Wear Hue in four bullet points:
- Link your Philips Hue Bridge.
- View the status of all your devices.
- Toggle the device status.
- Adjust the brightness and light colors.
With a price of only 1.59 euros, this app is not too expensive either. But you should perhaps forgive any mistakes, because the first release of this app was only released in January 2022. Don’t be angry with errors, but report bugs directly to the developer.
