Redmi 10C is listed on the US FCC certification

A Xiaomi smartphone having model number 220333QNY with the marketing name of Redmi 10C has been listed on the US FCC certification. The marketing name of the device confirms that it going to be the upcoming Redmi 10C smartphone only. The same Redmi device was previously listed on the IMEI database, which reveals that the device will boot up the company’s latest MIUI 13 skin out of the box.

On the other hand, the Indian variant of the device with model number 220333QBI has also cleared the Indian BIS certification, hinting at the imminent Indian launch. It is worth mentioning that the Redmi 9C was launched as Redmi 9 in India. And, as the model number of the Indian variant of the device is slightly different, it could be launched as Redmi 10 in India.

The device will be codenamed “fog”, “rain” and “wind”. The device will bring very few changes compared with the Redmi 10A smartphone. It will also be launched in the Global, China and Indian market. It will flaunt a similar camera with a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL S5KJN1 or OmniVision OV50C primary camera followed by a secondary 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera. It will be again powered by MediaTek chipset.
