Mike, a well-known whistleblower about Riot Games, revealed that Valorant may land on the console platform. The game has been available only on PC since its release on June 2, 2020. It’s unclear on which console the game will be released.
Mike tweeted: Riot is now hiring for a console position for Valorant. So, I guess they’re working on Valorant for the console.

The position we’re talking about is Senior Console Game Designer on Riot’s Valorant team. The job description reads: “As a senior game designer, you design, tune, and optimize the player experience. Your analytical skills, player insight, and creativity help create in-game and in-game experiences that engage players.
You, Will, work with cross-disciplinary teams, using all the tools at hand, to innovate and iterate player-centric designs that delight millions of people around the world. Design and refine features, modes, systems to help bring console gaming products to the fore market.”
In an interview last year, Whalen Rozelle, senior director of global esports at Riot Games, mentioned that they are looking at long-term growth. Rozelle said before noting Riot is considering porting Valorant to other platforms: We want to think about where we want Valorant to be in esports from a multi-year, maybe 10-year perspective.
