Apple Music Replay 2022 playlist now available

Apple today started sharing its Replay 2022 playlist to Apple Music subscribers. Just like the past two years, this playlist ranks all the music that started streaming this year, with a total of 100 tracks in the ranking.

Replay 2022 will be updated weekly with the latest order of your most-listened-to tracks. By the end of 2022, the playlist provides an overview of the year’s music playback history.

To find this playlist, just switch to the bottom of the “Listen Now” tab in Apple Music on iOS, iPad OS, and macOS. The web version of Apple Music also has a more detailed data tracking feature, including the most streamed artists and albums, as well as detailed play count and listening time statistics.

Since 2020, Apple has been offering its annual Replay playlists in mid-February, the company’s only offering in terms of annual statistical summaries. Spotify Wrapped has dominated this segment of the music streaming business for several years, thanks largely to an easy-to-share infographic it launched in early December.

Apple Music playback is available year-round, but playlists generally don’t change much after a year, and Apple doesn’t offer a year-end summary feature that allows its users to post their playlists on social media platforms.
