This operating system, which continues in the beta process until mid-2021, released with new devices, has been introduced in the global market under the name EMUI 12 and continues to be developed to provide a different experience than the Android ecosystem.

This OS is designed to work on different types of devices that are compatible with all scenarios. We can use IT on IOT devices, smartwatches/bands, even vehicles.

HarmonyOS 2.0 has recently completed a roadplan to adapt to different product groups.

HUAWEI devices that already have a Google certificate will be able to access Google services without any problems after EMUI 12 upgrade.

One of the features of HarmonyOS is that it consumes fewer device resources compared to Android. Compared to Android, it uses approximately 6-7GB less system size, and its RAM optimization allows it to work comfortably even on devices with 128kb of RAM.

We can understand how fast HarmonyOS 2.0 is from the HUAWEI Watch 3 Pro smartwatch, which is very similar to the Xiaomi Watch S1. It works pretty fast. It’s based on Android 10, so unfortunately it doesn’t include some new features.
