With each MIUI update, new versions of the system apps are released. We previously explained how to update your apps to the MIUI 13 versions in this article, and this time we’ll teach you how to update them automatically, with MIUI’s System App Updater setting.
How to update MIUI apps
Method 1: Update via Settings
- Open your Settings app from your home screen
- Tap on the System apps updater submenu
- Wait for it to load
- Update! After it loads you should get a few apps that are waiting to be updated.
Method 2: Update manually
- Go into the MIUI System Updates Telegram chat and search for the apps you want
- Install the app via the File Manager of your preference
Method 3: Install using MIUI Downloader
- You can also download updated versions of apps using our app, MIUI Downloader.
Please do keep in mind that these apps may not install on your device, or may cause instability, due to not being supported on your ROM. You could try disabling signature verification, but this requires your device to be rooted.
