CDPR has officially announced the launch of the next-generation and version 1.5 updates. However, some players said that the physical version in their hands could not be upgraded.
CDPR said they are investigating the cause of the problem, and at the same time for the PC version of the crash, the official gave a temporary solution.
The crash is most likely caused by an audio software conflict, CDPR said. This issue has been found in audio drivers such as A-Volute, Nahimic, and Sonic Studio. As a temporary solution, we recommend turning off the above drivers. , then restart the game.
In addition, CDPR also stated that they are looking into adding PS4/PS5 trophy transfers and increasing the XSS framerate limit.
If your PC meets the <Minimum System Requirements> but the game crashes, please follow the troubleshooting steps below:
- If your Windows 10 version is lower than 1909, please update it to the latest version. To check your OS version, press Win+R at the same time and open “winver”.
- Follow the instructions below to clean install your graphics driver:
NVIDIA
I. Use the link below to download the latest driver >>>
II. Download the Display Driver Uninstaller and run it to remove the previous version of the driver.
III. Clean install the driver you downloaded in step 1.
AMD
I. Uninstall your graphics driver using the AMD Cleanup Utility software.
II. Download the latest driver from here and do a clean install.
Note: If the above problem occurs immediately after updating the driver, please install the previous version and report the problem to us.

4. If you have any apps that use the overlay feature, such as Discord, Ubisoft Connect, Galaxy, etc., please turn off their overlay feature or close those apps completely.
5. Close all unnecessary applications before launching the game. Includes hardware monitoring and antivirus/malware killing programs.
6. Make sure you haven’t changed the GPU and CPU clock frequencies. Any overclocking or underclocking can crash the game and inadvertently cause permanent damage to your hardware.
