It is reported that this reader is equipped with a 7.8-inch @ 1872×1404 resolution e-ink screen with 16-bit grayscale and 300 dpi pixel density.
As an Android e-book reader, it also has a built-in quad-core @ 1.6 GHz Cortex-A17 processor, 2GB LPDDR3 memory, and supports Google Play services and access to the Play Store.
With just a few modifications, you can download and install the .APK game for the Boox Nova Pro eBook Reader through the App Store. Of course, affected by the screen and performance, the game frame rate is only 8~15 fps, which generally looks unsatisfactory.
Achilleswing also ran Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic in the same way, and it seems a turn-based RPG would be a better fit for this type of device.
Of course, if you want to run smoothly, you should try to lower the picture quality, increase the contrast/gamma value, and use a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse to operate.
