Last year, Google introduced Smart Canvas. According to their own statements, Smart Canvas improves the workspace docs, sheets and slides in terms of productivity and networking in the team. Now there are other innovations that Google would like to bring to the attention of relevant users when dealing with Smart Canvas.
For example, automatically generated summaries are introduced into Docs, which filter out the most important information in the document and prioritize it. If desired, the summaries can also be edited manually.
Also new is the pageless format in Docs, which allows pages to be viewed on any device or screen without page separation. If a document needs to be pointed out, the paginated format can be reactivated at any time.
Thanks to Smart Canvas, so-called Smart Chips, templates and more can also be inserted via an “@”. This menu has been expanded to include images, tables and more. There are also new Smart Chips to report, namely ones for Maps, with which Google Maps links can be displayed directly in Docs in a preview.
There will soon be an innovation for Google Sheets, namely automatically displayed correction suggestions for formulas, with which errors can be found more quickly. Here it says “in the coming weeks” regarding the availability of the feature.
