Overhype Studios announced that the acclaimed tactical RPG Battlefield Brothers is about to receive a new free DLC. Players still waiting for the studio’s next release finally have a new tool to kill time.
This free DLC is called Flesh and Faith and will officially land on the PC platform on March 10. Although the manufacturer has not announced it, the DLC is also likely to land on the PS4, Xbox One and NS platforms simultaneously. Even if the console version of the DLC is delayed, it should not be too long.
In Flesh and Faith, two new backgrounds will be added to the game, namely the oath keeper representing faith and the anatomist representing flesh. Oathkeepers gain different strengths and weaknesses based on the oath they keep, while anatomists can find new ways to strengthen friendly forces by dissecting enemy corpses.
In addition to new classes, the DLC adds new flags, new equipment and more than 50 new events to the game. Battlefield Brothers landed on the PC platform in 2017, ported to the NS platform in 2021, and landed on the Xbox One and PS4 platforms last month.
At present, Overhype Studio is developing a new game called Threat, which is produced by the Unity engine, provides 3D graphics, and is logged into the PC platform.
The gameplay combines two elements of strategy and tactics. The battle is still turn-based, and the game has many factions. , each faction has a corresponding AI model, which will combine hand-drawn elements and procedurally generated content. The Threat is expected to be released in 2024 or 2025.
