Roku is reportedly considering making its own TVs

Roku now also offers its streaming players in Germany. The provider’s operating system is also used by some manufacturers, such as TCL, for Smart TVs. But Roku itself doesn’t make any televisions yet. However, according to Business Insider, that could be about to change. At least Roku is currently checking internally whether it might be worth offering your own TVs.

Roku is said to be so far that TV sets with different names, diagonals and prices have already been presented to focus groups in order to be able to better evaluate the potential response on the market. Allegedly, Roku has been considering this for over a year, so there is a serious chance that it will enter the TV market.

It is of course questionable whether Roku would then send its own televisions directly to the international field or whether it would first explore the situation in the USA. Because in the United States, Roku is already a force, while in Europe it remains a newcomer.
