According to reports, the audio social application Clubhouse launched a text chat function, similar to the function on YouTube and Twitch.
The Clubhouse text chat feature is an optional feature and must be enabled by the streamer when opening a voice chat room.
After enabling, the user will see a button in the lower-left corner of the app, and click to enter. Clubhouse believes text chat can add a touchpoint between creators and listeners.
