Google Pixel 7’s may have just been certified

Google Pixel 6 and Google Pixel 6 Pro are still the present and the near future of the Made by Google series, however, their successors Google Pixel 7 and Google Pixel 7 Pro are already on the horizon.

The last few days have been a real flood of rumors about the next Big G reference smartphones, including first renders, more detailed images and videos and even the probable technical specifications.

The information leaked today is even more interesting, because it does not refer to the smartphone through still abstract images, but it already makes us perceive it as something concrete.

Google Pixel 7 already certified in India?

Following the usual modus operandi, Google is expected to officially unveil its new flagship smartphones next fall in the United States.

As can be seen from the images already leaked a few days ago, Google Pixel 7 Pro should not upset the already iconic and perfectly recognizable design of the Pixel 6 Pro predecessor.

Returning to the actuality of the new information that emerged, a Google Pixel series device has just been certified in India by the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) suggesting an imminent launch.

This device features model number GX7AS and making its sighting unusual is the fact that Google hasn’t launched any new model in India since the Pixel 4a.

Unfortunately, the certification in question does not offer us in-depth information on the device, but a previous report shows that the GX7AS model should be produced in three variants, which could correspond to Google Pixel 7, Google Pixel 7 Pro and Google Pixel 7a.

All these, however, could be mere speculations of the source, given that Google has not officially launched the Pixel 6 series in India and that there is another model of the Pixel series, also part of a family of three models, very much closest to launch: Google Pixel 6a.
