Specifically, Electronic Arts revealed recently that user feedback has prompted the Ripple Effect Studios development team to make some changes to the large-scale maps featured in Battlefield 2042. One of the many criticisms leveled at the title by players is that it has become too much. slow in the sense that it takes too long to return to combat after respawning. To this end, the studio will make changes to spawn points to make returning to the game more immediate.

As if that were not enough, many players have repeatedly made themselves heard declaring that some game modes, such as Breakthrough, are too chaotic and, as such, DICE, together with Ripple Effect Studios, are trying to reduce the number of games. players and the vehicles are available in that game mode.

Finally, the development teams are also trying to balance the experience within some large maps, some of them defined by players too open and with little coverage. These are the plans mentioned by EA, but at the moment we don’t know when these fixes will arrive.
