Activision and Team t have announced an update to the Call of Duty franchise, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, including a remastered map WMD, new assault rifles and skins.
WMD is a remake of the map from Black Ops 1. This snowy map is set in an abandoned military facility, surrounded by abandoned buildings, and has many skirmish points. The map also provides verticality for snipers to launch long-range attacks in places with good visibility.
As for the new weapons, Group T announced the addition of the Vargo 52 assault rifle. The Vargo 52 is set up as a fast-firing fully automatic assault rifle with decent stability for mid-range combat. Players can unlock the gun through in-game challenges or purchase expansion packs containing weapon blueprints and accessories.

This is a surprise for fans of the Cold War, as Activision almost never provides an update for a Call of Duty game for more than a year. Players speculate that this may be related to the poor performance of Call of Duty: Pioneer and Activision’s announcement that there will be no new Call of Duty in 2023.
