Google Pixel 6a: Now there are even more details!

According to rumors, it is now supposed to move like the last two predecessors, the Pixel 4a and 5a, but the Pixel 6a is already being used in the background. Now the new Google cell phone may appear early in a benchmark and reveal a few more details about the internal hardware. This confirms previous rumors.

Everything that the benchmark reveals in terms of details is quite interesting for us. In any case, the Google Tensor should also be at the core. That’s what insiders announced a while ago, and all the new details on Geekbench seem to back that up. So the Pixel 6a has the same high-end processor as the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. Google cell phones used to have the same camera in all price ranges, but that’s changing now.

Pixel 6a: Less RAM, but the same data storage

The result in the benchmark also reveals the exact same performance of the Tensor in the Pixel 6a as in the more expensive devices. But the mid-range smartphone only gets by with 6 gigabytes of RAM. Should probably be enough anyway. 8 gigabytes are in the Pixel 6 and 12 gigabytes in the Pixel 6 Pro.

In the last few days, it has also become known that the built-in data memory is 128 gigabytes in size. There is certainly a no larger option, which was not the case with the predecessors either. If you need more memory, Google always refers to its own cloud offer (from 1.99 euros/month).

Actually, the Pixel 6a was supposedly planned for May. But it should be delayed by several months. The situation on this is based only on insiders, there is no official information from Google about it yet.
