Adobe goes deep into NFT space, Behance is adding support for the Polygon blockchain

Adobe’s Behance social network is introducing support for the Polygon cryptocurrency platform to make it easier for users to showcase relevant NFTs. The company touts the Polygon integration as “a more environmentally conscious way for artists to create NFTs,” and Behance has begun supporting it in late 2021.

While this eco-friendliness is still up for debate, it at least shows that Adobe is continuing to expand into the crypto space, while also trying to reassure artists concerned about its potential negative effects.

As for Polygon, which works on the popular Ethereum blockchain, it has a smaller energy footprint for individual crypto transactions and avoids the huge transaction costs associated with ETH.

On the other hand, Polygon is still adding more traffic to the energy-heavy Ethereum system, which was long overdue for an upgrade to a more efficient verification system, only to be held back by vested interests.

With the help of the new features, artists can use Polygon to put their minted NFTs on the popular OpenSea marketplace, display relevant images on Behance, and guide potential audiences to buy.
