Elden Ring | Finals Guide (Without Spoiler)

How many endings does Elden Ring have? As per FromSoftware tradition, Elden Ring also contains several endings (6 in total) that depend on the choices made during the game with the secondary quests of the characters. To unlock the Frenzied Flame Master and Star Age achievement trophies you will need to get two different endings, but there are also all endings variants of Age of Rift, another trophy that serves to platinum the game.

To get them all, however, there is no need to finish Elden Ring numerous times, nor to beat the hostile final boss as many times. In this guide, devoid of spoilers, we will see how to unlock all the endings of Elden Ring without effort and without replaying the game from the beginning.

How to get all Elden Ring Finals in one game

Basically, after defeating the final boss you will find yourself in a place of grace and you will have the opportunity to rebuild the Ancestral Ring. SAVE THIS SAVE, it is imperative if you want to see all the endings in the same game.

IMPORTANT: However, you will also have to keep another save for the last ending, or Lord of the Frenzied Flame. Just keep the save just before the final boss fight in Leyndell Ashen Capital, you will find additional details in the chapter related to this ending.

To get a different ending, just choose to rebuild the Ancestral Ring using one of the Runes linked to certain secondary missions of the characters. Given the ending, you just need to reload the game and choose another Rune, without having to beat the final boss again, without having to restart the game from the beginning or anything else, you will simply have to choose a different Rune or object (except for the final Lord of the Frenetic Flame).

Of course, you will need to have unlocked all the required runes and items and have them in your inventory before beating the final boss. Before moving on to the endings, let’s see everything you need to do before defeating the final boss to get all the endings :

  • Complete the Fia quest
  • Complete the Earth Eater quest
  • Complete Corhyn’s quest
  • Complete Ranni’s quest
  • Store a save just before the final boss in Leyndell, Ashen Capital (ONLY for the final Frenzied Flame Lord)
  • Keep a save after defeating the final boss (for all other endings)

Once you have followed these steps, below we recommend the best order in which to get all the endings.

NB: If you aim only for trophies and objectives you don’t have to get them all but only Age of the Rift, Age of the Stars and Lord of the Frenzied Flame.

The era of the Fracture

The basic ending of the game that unlocks the Age of Rift trophy. To get it , just rebuild the Ancestral Ring . The chosen rune doesn’t matter, you will still get both the objective trophy and the ending. Here is the complete history guide with the best order for dealing with the main and secret regions.

It was from the Twilight

An ending that extends the basic one seen in Age of Fracture. To unlock it, reload the save after the final boss and rebuild the Ancestral Ring using the Death Rune. To get this Rune, complete the Fia side mission before beating the final boss.

Blessing of Despair

Another variation of the final Era of the Fracture. To unlock it, reload the save after the final boss and choose to rebuild the Ancestral Ring using the Rune of the Plague. To get this Rune, you must complete the secondary mission of the Eater before beating the final boss.

He was of the Perfect Order

Yet another variant of the final Era of the Fracture. To unlock it, reload the save after the final boss and rebuild the Ancestral Ring using the Rune of the Perfect Order. To get it before the final boss you will have to complete the secondary mission of Corhyn the monk.

It was of the Stars

A truly different ending linked to one of the longest and most complex quests in the game. To unlock it, reload the save after the final boss and use Ranni’s Summoning Sign. Of course, the summoning sign must be obtained first by completing the secondary mission of the Ranni Witch.

Lord of the Frenzied Flame

The endings of FromSoftware games are always very ambiguous, but this is definitely the bad ending of Elden Ring , one of the longest bad endings ever to get.

ATTENTION: If you choose to go this route you must know that you WILL BLOCK ALL THE OTHER FINALS.

To unlock this ending you will have to get the Power of the Frenzied Flame and defeat the final boss after which you will NOT be able to choose to do anything.

This ending is linked to numerous side quests (Hyetta, Melina, Varré) but to unlock it as quickly as possible, reload the save you have kept of Leyndell Ashen Capital, before the final boss and descend into the Forgotten Abyss. To do this you will have to go through the Leyndell Sewers until you reach the Abyss. In Leyndell Cinerea Capital you will find a large open manhole in the center of the city from which you can descend into the Forgotten Abyss. In this area you will have to take out the boss Mohg and once you have him hit the altar behind him to reveal a passage.

Go down slowly passing over the tombstones until you reach the secret Proscription area of the Frenzied Flame. There will be a sealed door. To open it you will have to take off all the weapons, equipment, armor, amulets, everything. Inside the door, you can have an audience with a character that we prefer not to spoil and who will grant you the Power of the Frenzied Flame. Now all you have to do is go out and defeat the boss again (sadly) to get the final Frenzied Flame Lord.

IMPORTANT: If you get the Power of the Frenzied Flame BEFORE activating the Giant Forge you will change Melina’s fate by activating the Forge yourself. Moreover, if after changing the fate of the young woman you also want to UNLOCK THE OTHER FINALS AGAIN, abandoning the path of the Frenzied Flame, you can do it but you will have to complete the long and complex Millicent quest.

Ed In practice, if you want a complete experience of Elden Ring (visiting all the extra areas and facing the secondary bosses) we recommend that you complete all the quests to get all the other endings described above and before activating the Forge take the Power of the Flame. In this way you can activate the Forge yourself and then follow the Millicent quest to free yourself, finally continuing with the other 5 endings.
