Firefox Relay hides users’ real email addresses and replaces them with aliases to protect the identity and protect email inboxes from unwanted spam messages. This function is now also available in a premium version and, according to a recent report from Mozilla, has now been improved again.
For example, the limit for mail sizes has now been increased to 10 MB, since mails with larger attachments were previously not compatible with a relay. Relay Premium subscribers can now also manually opt-in to receiving or blocking any or all commercial emails from a website.
And for users of Google Chrome as a browser, Mozilla still wants to ensure that those with Firefox Relay can also be on the go and have therefore now published a corresponding extension. That should contain a “large part” of the known functions.
