The Galaxy M53 5G recently appeared in the GeekBench benchmark library, showing that the model is “SM-M536B”. The device runs MediaTek’s Dimensity 900 octa-core SoC with a base clock frequency of 2.0GHz, 6GB of RAM, and Android 12-based OneUI 4 skin. It scored 733 and 2224 points in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.
The Galaxy M series is value for money, offering impressive hardware specs at a reasonable price. Launched in September 2021, the Galaxy M53’s predecessor, the M52 5G, features a 6.7-inch FHD+ screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC, and a choice of up to 8GB of memory.
The device has 128GB of storage and a 5000mAh battery with 25W fast charging. The device contains an accelerometer, a gyroscope sensor, a geomagnetic sensor, a light sensor and a proximity sensor. It also features 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS, USB Typ-C Dolby Atmos, Knox security, Game Booster, and 4GB of additional virtual memory.
