For a long time now there have been rumors that give for certain the development of Resident Evil 4 Remake, which could also be very different from the original according to the reports. So far, however, Capcom has never officially shown the project, still shrouded in mystery.
Waiting to find out if a remake of the fourth chapter of the iconic horror series really exists, a fan is in the meantime having fun creating a demake of the game, imagining it as if it were released at the time of the first PlayStation.
The Youtube channel Rustic Games BR has already published several videos of the Resident Evil 4 Fan Demake, including a very recent one that depicts the famous fight between the protagonist Leon S. Kennedy and El Gigante in the early stages of the original adventure.
The PSX reinterpretation of the great 2005 classic takes up the atmosphere, mechanics and still shots of the very first chapters, truly conveying the feeling of being straight out of the late 90s like its predecessors. The work done is undoubtedly very intriguing: would you have liked to have played Resident Evil 4 on PS1?
Still on the subject of amateur projects, the fanmade remaster of Resident Evil 4 entitled HD Project is also available, which introduced very high definition textures and a better lighting system. Now only the announcement of the official remake by Capcom is missing.
