Microsoft claims to have brought significant performance improvements to Xbox cloud gaming on iOS devices. Microsoft said in an Xbox Wire post on Monday, “We listen to and value player feedback and players are demanding a better Xbox cloud gaming iOS experience, so we’re bringing a major update to all supported iPhone and iPad devices. performance improvements for a smoother gaming experience.”
It’s unclear exactly when these improvements were rolled out, but Microsoft says it’s seen a marked increase in positive feedback from players following the performance boost, along with increased engagement, including a 35 percent increase in playtime.
It was recently revealed that Microsoft is planning to introduce mouse and keyboard support for Xbox cloud gaming. Currently, Xbox cloud gaming only supports gamepads and touchscreens on mobile devices.
