Google has released a new version of the Chrome browser. Users of macOS, Linux and Windows are currently offered version 99.0.4844.74 for updating, for Android it is 99.0.4844.78.
With the release of the new version, Google has closed a bunch of vulnerabilities, including one with severity of “Critical” and several with a rating of “Important”.
As usual, details on some gaps will not be published until most users have updated. So make sure you update the browser briefly or do the update when it is offered to you. This should be done within the next few days at the latest.
