Horizon Forbidden West continues its evolution path through a rather intense release of corrective patches, as evidenced by the release in these hours of the new patch 1.08, intended to fix several problems that have emerged in the game, especially in terms of bugs and various imperfections.
After patch 1.07 which improved performance and other features, today’s update seems more focused on fixing standard problems, such as several bugs evidently affecting various in-game quests.
The official patch notes, available at this address, present a long list of corrections applied mainly to individual moments of Horizon Forbidden West, between main and secondary quests. Among these, we find several solutions for bugs that could be decidedly nefarious in the progression of the game, including the disappearance of elements, blocks, the disappearance of characters and elements and various other inconveniences detected in these first weeks of launch.
In more general terms, in addition to the various interventions on individual quests, patch 1.08 also corrects some graphic problems and improves the cutscenes, as well as the characteristics of the shadows and clouds, it also improves the performance and streaming of data, based on as reported by Guerrilla Games, but we refer you to the official subReddit page to know all the changes.
Meanwhile, it has emerged that Horizon Forbidden West is the best PS5 launch to date in the US.
