The first 8-track expansion of the 48 new tracks included in the Mario Kart 8: Deluxe Track Pass DLC is now available for preloading for Nintendo Switch Online+ subscribers. Nintendo UK Twitter account confirms that Nintendo Switch Online+ members can pre-install the expansion ahead of its official launch on March 18, while reminding that the DLC is included in the membership service at no additional cost.
The DLC can also be purchased separately on the HK server for HKD 169. The DLC will add 48 additional tracks over the next 18 months. The first wave of updates will add two new events: Golden Sprint Cup and Lucky Cat Cup.
These include the three tracks of the mobile game Mario Kart Tour, as well as Coco Hill from Mario Kart 64, Coconut Mall from Mario Kart Wii, and Mario Kart DS. Mushroom Ridge, Hanging Garden in the GBA version of Mario Kart: Super Circuit, and Toad Raceway in the 3DS game Mario Kart 7.
