If you are a Twitter user and also use an Android smartphone, you may have stumbled across the problem that uploading videos are not really quick. Of course, it could also be your internet connection, but in this case, Twitter also seems to have a problem.
According to the engineering account, this has now been fixed and uploads of 720p videos (or worse) should now be faster on Android 9 and higher. If you share high-resolution videos, it will continue to take a little longer for now. Here, too, a fix is being worked on. But that can take a little longer.
Now it should be faster to share your favorite clips up to 720p and bitrates of 3.5mbps and lower.
While this improvement represents our latest evolution for Android video uploads, we’re continuing to improve the upload experience for your high quality videos.
Happy Tweeting!
