By now the Northern series has become one of the crucial points of the Chinese company’s policy, with many new models in the pipeline. Among these, we have the OnePlus Nord 3, a medium-high-end device that promises sparks and is already the protagonist of an avalanche of leaks that reveal details on technical specifications and release on the market.
Design and display
Although we have various information on the specifications, for the design we still have details. According to various rumors, the OnePlus Nord 3 will have a 6.7 ″ AMOLED panel with Full HD + resolution (2412 x 1080 pixels) and a punch hole for the selfie camera (this time positioned in the center of the display). Obviously, we expect the presence of a fingerprint reader under the screen and an advanced refresh rate, at 90 or 120 Hz.
Hardware
If the design is still a mystery, the hardware is not. Numerous rumors report the presence of the recent Dimensity 8100 , octa-core chipset made by 5 nm by TSMC and equipped with a maximum frequency of 2.85 GHz (with a Cortex-A78 core). On the memory side there would be up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
As you can imagine , one of the main features of OnePlus Nord 3 will be the 4,500 mAh battery with support for 150W super charging, which will make its debut on board the cousin Realme GT Neo 3. The software part will feature Android 12, with theOxygenOS 12.
For the camera we should find a 16 MP selfie module while the main compartment will rely on a 50 MP Sony IMX766 sensor ( f / 1.8). This will be accompanied by two other sensors, 8 and 2 MP (presumably wide angle and macro).
OnePlus Nord 3 – Price and release
Little or nothing is known about the release of OnePlus Nord 3: the launch should take place during the second quarter of the year , precisely by the end of May or early June (even if there is no confirmation). For the selling price , there are no rumors; the predecessor was launched at € 399 so we certainly expect a similar figure.
