This article introduces Projector from Google, the company’s new screen recording tool for Chromebooks. The projector can generate transcripts for you, and you can easily find your records by searching. Does this sound like a Recorder app for Android phones? The app also automatically generates transcripts.
It’s unclear if Projector will come to Windows and Mac devices in the future. The app is currently available in the Canary channel of Chrome OS. Enable the following 3 experimental flags to make it work:
- Enable Projector
- Enable Projector annotator
- Enable Projector to exclude transcript feature
An app is still a tool that is still in development and does not work. It stopped with an error trying to download the speech recognition module.
