Today is Father’s Day and PlayStation has seen fit to congratulate all the fathers using a particular God of War image that sees Kratos hugging his son Atreus.
Although someone felt the need to criticize God of War because of the figure of the “grumpy and detached father”, we know well that the intention of Santa Monica Studio was precisely to tell the evolution of the relationship between a warrior who is always distinguished for his merciless battle fury and his son.
“No matter how old you are, for him, you will never grow up,” reads the PlayStation post, adding the phrase “wishes from your boyfriend” to the image: another reference to God of War and the exchanges between Kratos and Atreus.
Of course we join Sony in wishing a happy Father’s Day to all fathers who read Multiplayer.it, even and especially those who are going through a difficult time.
