Google started rolling out the March update two weeks ago, which this time also includes a pixel feature drop and the switch to Android 12.1. The update for Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro was delayed again, as has often been the case in the past. Google still doesn’t reveal why this is still happening. Be that as it may, the updates are finally rolling out for the latest Pixel models.
Pixel Feature Drop: New features in the March update
- Night vision mode for Snapchat.
- Live subtitles for calls including read-aloud function.
- Text stickers in Gboard.
- Live translator on Pixel 6 with more languages.
- Batterie-Widget in Pixel Launcher.
- Rekorder can now speak Italian and Spanish.
- Direct commands in Assistant now work in Spanish, Italian, and French.
- New wallpapers.
- Battery indicator for connected devices in live view.
The Pixel 6 smartphones are the only Pixel devices that receive all of the innovations mentioned.
