Google has recently implemented some new privacy measures for the history on Android, allowing to eliminate the last fifteen minutes of browsing from it. However, this hasn’t prevented the emergence of controversy over Big G’s use of Android data.
Recent research from Trinity College Dublin titled ” What Data Do The Google Dialer and Messages Apps On Android Send to Google?”, in fact, suggests that Google Messages and Google Phone would send private data to Big G’s servers, including some information related to phone calls and user messages.

The research explains that ” the data sent by Google Messages includes a hash of the text messages, which allows you to link who sends and who receives them in a conversation “. Regarding the Telephone, however, the paper explains that ” the data sent by Google Phone includes the time and duration of the calls, allowing the two connected devices to be recognized by the telephone calls. The telephone numbers are also sent to Google”.
