Android 12 brought Material You with dynamic colors. However, the selection is currently rather limited. However, an extension of the color palette is already planned for the next Android update. What was previously suspected is confirmed in the recently released second developer preview of Android 13.
Google has prepared several new color palettes that will definitely appear with Android 13. At least that’s the new state of affairs, which we think is pretty good. I’m a big fan of Material You and would be very happy if there was a little more individuality and variety.

These screenshots show a leak from two months ago. Unfortunately, the new colors will probably not come on older versions of Android, so an update to Android 13 is necessary for anyone who wants the new colors then. But first let’s enjoy the summer. Android 13 will not be released until autumn.
