The announcement of the new The Witcher saga in development at CD Projekt RED studios has sent fans of the series into an uproar. Although certain information is currently very little, the wait towards the next game is already felt and there is an enormous curiosity to find out what the Polish team is actually preparing.
The authors have already confirmed which animal is featured in the new The Witcher medallion, laying interesting foundations for the future of the series. In the meantime, however, the mysterious project has already received huge feedback on Twitter: within a few days, the announcement post on the official page of the series reached 318,000 likes, revealing itself to be one of the most popular ever in the gaming field on the social platform.

As explained by Benji-Sales, in fact, the tweet on the new The Witcher had more reactions than any post on Cyberpunk 2077 made in recent years, but not only: it did even better than the announcement tweet of another heavyweight like Red. Rockstar Games ‘ Dead Redemption 2 (first revealed to the world in October 2016). In short, CD Projekt RED has attracted the attention of players all over the world, who are thrilled by the desire to see the game in action as soon as possible.
In all likelihood, however, there will be a very long wait. In the meantime, we know for sure that the new The Witcher will use Unreal Engine 5, thus abandoning the REDengine owner of the company.
