Gmail starts with an interesting thing with the first users. You will be asked whether mobile notifications should be disabled in the Gmail app on the smartphone if the user is logged into their Gmail account on the computer and is actively using the browser.
Of course, the emails continue to arrive on the go, but the notification would only be visible in one place, the browser when you are active on the computer.
Users who are now curious have to hope: Google does not have a setting for this in Gmail but is currently proactively offering this innovation to the first users. If users accept Google’s offer, they must allow Gmail to monitor device usage.
Let’s hope that Google will soon offer proper setting options for this.
