Mozilla Corporation has released a maintenance release update for Firefox 98. The Firefox 98.0.2 maintenance update, released today, focuses on fixing an issue that prevented users from typing in the address bar after opening a new tab and pressing the cmd+enter button. This problem mainly occurs on the macOS platform, so Firefox Apple users please update as soon as possible.
This update also fixes an issue that caused the Firefox browser to crash unexpectedly, as well as a bug in the session history. Other than that, there’s nothing too exciting about this update.
The version 98 update, which was released on March 8, includes a new and optimized download process that allows the browser to automatically download files instead of prompting the user every time.
