OnePlus has a large number of new smartphones in the works for the next few months. A recent leak, in fact, anticipated the launch of at least 6 OnePlus smartphones in the course of 2022 but the upcoming models could actually be in greater numbers.
Among the news already confirmed there is also the unpublished OnePlus Nord 2T. The smartphone should debut in a few months, anticipating the debut of the OnePlus Nord 3, expected in the summer and going to join the recent OnePlus Nord CE 2. Today, thanks to the insider Yogesh Brar, we register the arrival of the first confirmation on the project of the new OnePlus Nord 2T. Here are the details:

The new OnePlus Nord 2T is coming to expand the OnePlus range and should present itself, according to information provided by Yogesh Brar, with a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with Full HD + resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate.
To manage the operation of the smartphone, instead, there will be the SoC MediaTek Dimensity 1300, one of the most recent additions to the range of MediaTek chips for the mid-range. The SoC will be supported by 8/12 GB of LPPDDR4X RAM and 128/256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
To complete the technical specifications of the new OnePlus Nord 2T we will find a 4,500 mAh battery with support for fast charging from 80 W. The photographic sector, on the other hand, will consist of a triple rear camera with a 50 Megapixel main sensor (it is a Sony IMX766, the same sensor mounted by the OnePlus Nord 2 and which we will also find on the upcoming OnePlus 10R).
This sensor will be supported by an 8 Megapixel ultra-wide angle and a 2 Megapixel sensor for depth of field. Also, note the presence of a 32-megapixel front camera. On the software side, we will find Android 12 with Oxygen OS 12. Also noteworthy is the presence of two stereo speakers and the characteristic slider alert which, however, will not be present on the aforementioned OnePlus 10R.
When will the new smartphone arrive?
The new OnePlus Nord 2T will be part of the novelties for the OnePlus range arriving between spring and summer. At the moment, however, there are still no precise indications regarding the timing of the launch of the smartphone, even if the project is now known in almost all its details. According to last week’s leak, which confirmed the arrival of six new smartphones for OnePlus, the debut of the new OnePlus Nord 2T is scheduled for the month of May even if the international launch may not be immediate.

In fact, it is also necessary to evaluate which will be the marketing markets of the new smartphone. For now, in fact, there are no guarantees of the arrival in Europe of the new variant of the Nord range. The OnePlus smartphone offer is destined to be renewed in Europe, soon, with the debut of the top-of-the-range OnePlus 10 Pro, already available in China from the beginning of 2022.
Recently, however, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G arrived, already available in Italy with a price list starting from 359 euros. There should also be the new entry level OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite, already the protagonist of various rumors. Space for the OnePlus Nord 2T may be limited. For more confirmations regarding the possible commercial launch of the new smartphone in Europe, it may be necessary to wait a few weeks.
