Aerial Photography Shows: Tesla’s Texas Gigafactory has produced a batch of white Model Y

According to the invitation letter announced by Musk on social media, Tesla’s Gigafactory in Texas will hold an opening ceremony on April 7, and the scene is expected to be open to some. Lucky users delivered the Model Y produced by this super factory.

The newly released aerial photography shows that Tesla’s super factory in Texas has produced a batch of white Model Y. Judging from the published aerial photos, in a parking lot near the Texas Gigafactory, there are 11 white Model Ys in three rows, and a large number of black Model Ys are parked nearby.

In terms of the neatness of the parking, the batch of Model Ys that appeared in the parking lot near the factory in the aerial photos are not the vehicles that the employees of the factory drive on a daily basis, but the Model Ys newly produced by the factory.

It is unclear whether the batch of white Model Ys that appeared in the aerial photography will be delivered to consumers on the spot on April 7. But as the factory is about to hold its opening ceremony and start large-scale deliveries, the batch of Model Y produced by the factory will also be delivered to consumers soon and will not be parked in the factory for too long.

Tesla’s super factory in Texas was announced in July 2020. It is their second vehicle assembly factory in the United States. The factory is located in the east of Austin, Texas, about 10 minutes from Austin International Airport. 5 minutes drive, approximately 15 minutes drive from downtown Austin.

As planned, Tesla’s Texas Gigafactory will be used to produce the Model Y and the electric pickup Cybertruck. In the earnings report released on January 26, Tesla disclosed that the super factory had started producing Model Y at the end of last year, and after obtaining the relevant certification, they will start delivering to consumers.
