After the domestic market release in January this year, the OnePlus 10 Pro will be launched in the international market on March 31. Before the official release, OnePlus shared relevant information about the phone in its official community, introducing how to provide fast and smooth performance through the combination of software and hardware. But to the disappointment of adding fans in North America, the fast charging power of the North American version of the OnePlus 10 Pro will be limited to 65W.
OnePlus officially stated that the international version of the OnePlus 10 Pro and the domestic version also supports 80W fast charging, and the built-in 5000mAh capacity battery only takes 32 minutes to fully charge from 1% to 100%. However, only the Indian and European markets get 80W fast charging, and the North American version will be limited to 65W.
OnePlus says this is because the 80W SUPERVOOC doesn’t currently support 110 or 120 volts AC, which is the typical standard for electrical outlets in the North American market. The phone maker doesn’t tell us how much extra time it takes to fully charge the OnePlus 10 Pro with 65W SuperVooc, but it does say that with 50W wireless charging in all regions, the smartphone takes 47 minutes to go from 1-100%.
