Rockstar Games has announced the release date of the physical editions of GTA 5 for PS5 and Xbox Series X | S. Retail versions will be available in the Rockstar store and at select retailers starting April 12, 2022. Additionally, a number of bonuses have been announced for GTA Online.
The next-gen versions for PS5 and Xbox Series X | S of GTA 5 include a number of changes and improvements to the graphics sector, such as better textures and lighting, greater density of vegetation, traffic and pedestrians and support for feedback. PS5’s Dualsense haptic, just to name a few. Also, loading times have improved dramatically over the old-gen versions.
On PS5 and Xbox Series X | S of GTA 5 they also offer three different graphics modes, namely Fidelity, Performance and Performance RT. The first aims to present the highest possible visual quality, with native 4K resolution and 30 fps. Performance, on the other hand, offers a non-native 4K resolution but ensures greater gameplay fluidity by aiming at 60 fps. Finally, the Performance RT mode activates ray tracing, always proposing a non-native 4K resolution and 60 fps, in this case, however, the framerate would seem a little less stable.
Here are the weekly bonuses coming to GTA Online:
- Double GTA $ & RP in Survival Series: Bring wave upon wave of enemy attacks from Ballas, LSPD agents, Lost MC bikers, Avon Hertz mercenary bodyguards, Juggernaut and more in the Survival Series to earn GTA Double $ & RP through April 6th.
- Double GTA $ & RP on Lamar Missions: In addition to the gab and burgeoning LD Organics, Lamar Davis is a top-tier sly. He returns to action on the streets to earn double rewards on Lamar’s missions throughout the week.
- Double GTA $ & RP on Special Cargo & Bunker Sell Missions: Don’t let stocks collect dust for too long in your Special Cargo Warehouse or Weapon Trafficking Bunker. This week, completing the Sell Missions for both businesses will earn Double GTA $ & RP.
- Receive the Solid White Square Glasses: All players who log into a GTA Online session this week will receive the Solid White Square Glasses for free.
- This week’s trophy vehicle: Grotti Itali GTO: The members of the LS Car Rally who manage to finish in the Top 3 in 5 races of the LS Rally will receive the keys to a Grotti Itali GTO to drive and modify at will.
Additionally, GTA Online players who link their Rockstar Games Social Club account with Prime Gaming will receive GTA $ 100,000. We remind you that GTA 5 is available for PS5 and Xbox Series X | S also in digital version on PlayStation Store and Xbox Store. Until June, you can purchase the full game or the standalone version of GTA Online at a discounted price. The multiplayer sector is also free for PlayStation Plus subscribers.
