Steam Deck Official: Over 2,000 games now verified or playable

Steam Deck has officially announced the latest game adaptation information, saying that more than 2,000 games are in the verified or playable status, and more than half of them are fully verified.

Regarding Steam Deck’s game certification levels, after logging in, users can view the compatibility level of each game in your library on the Steam page, and what kind of experience you can get when running those games on Steam Deck.

Currently, Steam Deck has four deck compatibility categories: Verified, Playable, Unsupported, and Unknown.

Only games that pass all four of the following are Steam Deck verified:

Enter

  • Games should have full controller support, use the appropriate controller input icons, and automatically bring up the on-screen keyboard when needed.

Show

  • The game should support Steam Deck’s default resolution (1280×800 or 1280×720), the default settings are good, and the text is legible.

Seamless experience

  • The game should not display any compatibility warnings; if there is a launcher, it should be possible to use the controller.

System Support

  • If running through Proton, the game and all its middleware should be supported by Proton, including anti-cheat support.
