The month of April started several days ago, but the announcement of the games for Xbox and PC Game Pass has not yet happened. We know what you are thinking: how long do we have to continue to be patient?
Probably just a couple of days, since the presentation of the Xbox and PC Game Pass line-up always takes place on the first Tuesday of the month. We, therefore, expect the officialization of the new games in the early afternoon of Tuesday 5 April, around 15:00, except for major changes in the plans.
Compared to the past months, on this tour, the clues as to what we can expect are much more limited. To date, the only game confirmed for the month of April is MLB The Show 2022, whose debut is set for day 5 on Xbox One, Xbox Series | S and Xbox Cloud Gaming.
For the uninitiated, this is an officially licensed MLB baseball simulation developed by Sony San Diego, which since 2021 has ceased to be exclusive for the PlayStation home platforms. This year it will also be released on Switch and will offer cross-platform progression on all systems.
As we continue to await the announcement, we can already confirm which games will leave the Xbox Game Pass catalog in April. On April 12 Beyond the Light, the penultimate expansion of Destiny will be removed, while on 16 it will be the turn of The Long Dark (PC and Xbox), Rain on Your Parade (PC and Xbox), Pathway (PC) and, predictably, MLB The Show 21. (Xbox).
