Windows Link supports HONOR smartphones

Just a few days ago Microsoft announced a change of name and graphics for Your phone: the update brought the name “Link to Windows” on smartphones and “Link to phone” on PCs. The functionalities have remained unchanged, with users who can receive and possibly respond to smartphone notifications from PC, but also receive and send SMS, make phone calls and view photos taken with the phone.

After the partnerships with Samsung and Surface Duo, a new brand is added in these hours starting from China, and it is precisely HONOR. Owners of HONOR Magic V, HONOR Magic4 and HONOR Magic3 series smartphones (other models will be added later) can now access the Connection to Windows service and consequently the functions listed above. The app will be installed by default on the models in question.

The announcement was also made official by Microsoft itself on the official Windows blog (you can read it here if you wish). We remind you that HONOR Magic4 and HONOR Magic4 Pro were presented during MWC 2022 at the end of February and will be available for purchase in the global markets from the third quarter of 2022 at the starting price of 899 euros.
