Lost Ark: Two new classes, a continent and endgame content are coming

Amazon Games has unveiled the content roadmap arriving in April and May 2022 for Lost Ark, among which we also find two new advanced classes and lots of unreleased content for the western version of Smilegate’s free-to-play MMO.

The two new classes are the Glaivier, a martial artist who fights with a spear and gladius, and the Destroyer, a warrior who fights using a giant hammer. The first will be available during the course of April and the second in May, according to the roadmap unveiled with the latest blog post of Lost Ark.

Over the next couple of months, Amazon Games plans to add several endgame activities and areas. In April, players will be able to explore the new continent of South Vern, while in May the Trial Guardian Raids will be introduced as a weekly endgame activity, as well as the new Deskaluda Guardian Raid. Amazon Games also plans to bring Valtan’s eight-player Legion Raid, defined as “the ultimate Lost Ark raid experience,” to the western version of Lost Ark.

In between are many other new features, including new log-in rewards, quality of life changes, and additional content not revealed in the blog post. That said, Amazon Games specifies that some of the planned news, such as the Guardian Raid Deskaluda, could be postponed if there is the risk of “putting too much pressure on the community” with the endgame content of Lost Ark.

“Our data suggest that a fairly large proportion of our active players will reach, or close to, the item level needed to participate in higher-tier endgame content in May,” Amazon said on the blog. “Our goal is to provide fun content for players, albeit at a higher level, without ever making them feel pressured to have to pay to keep up.” Meanwhile, the developers are restricting access to Lost Ark for anyone suspected of being a bot.
