Wear OS: Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro allegedly with monster battery

Software and hardware are becoming more efficient, and Samsung also wants to be able to offer a significantly larger battery for the next Galaxy Watch.

Samsung has also planned new smartwatches with Wear OS for this summer. The first successor to the Galaxy Watch 4 is pending, which in turn heralded the Wear OS comeback for Samsung. Samsung has planned a slight upgrade for this year, at least that was the previous assumption. We didn’t know anything about the Pro model back then.

It is said that there should be a Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro that has a significantly larger battery under the hood. We’re talking about 572 mAh, while the Galaxy Watch only had 361 mAh in the base. That would be a significant leap and could satisfy even those who didn’t get the battery life of the Galaxy Watch 4.

When I used the Galaxy Watch 4, I got along very well with the battery and actually only had to charge it every two days. But of course, this is different for every user. For example, I don’t think an always-on display makes sense for a digital watch, so I don’t use it.
