DualSense: The software to update the firmware is about to arrive on Windows and Mac

Soon the software to update the firmware of the DualSense controller will also arrive on Windows and Mac. There was no announcement about it by Sony, but online appeared the EULA (end-user license agreement) of the software, then removed by Sony, but kept from the Google cache, which unveiled this important news.

To date, the FirmWare of the DualSense can only be updated by switching from PS5. Since the controller can also be used with PCs and Macs, this is a significant limitation, especially for those who want to use it even if they do not own the console.

The EULA obviously doesn’t say much about the functionality of the software, but merely defines its legal boundaries.

Of course, there is no official yet, but the fact that the license agreement originally appeared on the official PlayStation website should leave little doubt about the validity of the news. Be that as it may, currently trying to reach the page where it appeared, you are greeted by a 404 error. So, for now, there is no talk of downloads. We just have to wait.
