According to the latest reports, the United States Netflix recently suffered a class action lawsuit by Russian users due to its refusal to provide services for Russian users.
ARRA Novo reported that Russian users demanded 60 million rubles in compensation in a class-action lawsuit against Netflix for breaching their contractual obligations to users by unilaterally refusing to provide services to Russian users and leaving the Russian market.
Netflix announced on Sunday that Netflix will suspend services in Russia, “in view of the local situation, we have decided to suspend services in Russia,” a Netflix spokesperson said.
In addition, Netflix announced a few days ago that it would suspend “all future Russian projects and acquisitions” and stop producing or post-production of at least four Russian-language series until further notice.
