There are now many signs that want Square Enix to announce something new about Final Fantasy 9, a beloved chapter of the saga, originally released on PSX. That something was moving had been clear for some time, at least since November.
At the time, one of the game’s designers, Kazuhiko Aoki, made it clear that soon some news could arrive related to the beloved Japanese role-playing game. So at least a comment of his published on the PlayStation Blog for the launch of the original game on PlayStation Now was interpreted.
Now there are other signs pointing in the same direction. Meanwhile, there was the recent theft of data from GeForce Now, in which there was talk of a remake of Final Fantasy 9. Given a lot of the other stolen information has turned out to be legitimate, such as those on Kingdom Hearts 4 and PlayStation titles for PC, many think that this is too.
In addition, Square Enix re-released the video of the game on YouTube, launched the vinyl soundtrack and announced the animated series, showing a big movement around Final Fantasy IX.
Of course, it is always possible that it is all a coincidence, but at this point, it is also right to believe in it a little.
