Many small and big mistakes prevented the market launch of the Pixel 6 smartphones. Nevertheless, the devices were well received. What is it like today?
For some users of the Pixel 6 smartphones, the mistakes of the first few months were too serious. They switched to other devices that did not bring such serious errors.
However, Google has worked hard over the past four months to eliminate the serious bugs. Some users had poorer mobile reception, and some complained about constantly switching off Wi-Fi.

And that’s not all. The list is long. Even with things that Google probably can no longer change. The automatic change of the display brightness is still extremely sluggish and sometimes faulty.
The display becomes brighter, for example, if you light up a little with the LED flashlight. The automatic rotation of the display content is also so slow in its reaction that I even despair of it several times a day.
But I never switched to other devices. Although I like to use the camera so much, it starts on the Pixel 6 in at least 50 percent of the cases stuttering and jerking.
The latter is gone for our colleague, to whose video we hereby “react”. In any case, I can understand why some do not get warm with the Pixel 6 or Pixel 6 Pro, even if some of the really serious bugs have long since been eliminated.
I can at least say that my Pixel 6 Pro is largely error-free. The Pixel 6 too, albeit with rare and slight drops in performance. Therefore, in my opinion, both devices can be recommended, because plus points such as the camera clearly predominate. But that still doesn’t seem to be the norm for the first smartphones with Google Tensor.
