In the latest article, BGR, a foreign technology media, summarized all the information of the current Google Pixel 7 series. The series is available in pixel 7 and pixel 7 pro models, with internal codenames “Cheetah” and “Panther” respectively. Both phones feature Google’s “GS201” processor, which is more advanced than the “GS101” processor used in the Pixel 6 series.
The exterior design of the Pixel 7 series
The Pixel 6 boasts a radical new design with a camera strip on the back, as well as a classic Pixel two-tone design with a number of stunning colors. The Pixel 7 adheres to this design in terms of overall appearance, but it may still look a little different from the Pixel 6.
According to the renderings of the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro leaked by OnLeaks, the appearance of these two devices will be quite similar to the previous generation. That said, the rear camera bar may be better integrated into the middlebox of the phone.
Pixel 7 Series specifications
One of the biggest changes to the Pixel 7 series vs. Pixel 6 is the new Tensor chip. The new chip, which focuses on artificial intelligence, helps give the Pixel 6 a super-smooth feel, though not as fast as the latest Apple or Qualcomm chips in benchmark tests.
However, the Pixel 7 may take Tensor’s performance to a new level. The new chip is said to be GS201, and there is no news yet that it has any improvements over the original Tensor chip.
Cameras have long been arguably the most important feature of the Pixel series, and this is only likely to continue on the Pixel 7. The Pixel 6 adds some great smart features like Magic Eraser and Face Unblur. We don’t know what kind of cool features the Pixel 7 will have, so we’ll have to wait and see.
Pixel 7 price and release date
Pixel phones have long been released around October, and for the Pixel 7, that’s unlikely to change. That said, given how far we are from the release date, it may still change.
Speaking of pricing, we expect the overall price to remain similar to the Pixel 6. Like the Pixel 6, Google is likely to release two phones — the Pixel 7 and the Pixel 7 Pro. This means that the price of the Pixel 7 could be $599 and the price of the Pixel 7 Pro is $899.
