Samsung is focusing on other factors for the Galaxy Watch 5. This includes larger batteries. Classic friends will be disappointed.
Already this year the release of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 is due and it should change after several years in the facelift. Samsung, according to a report by our colleagues, no longer wants to offer a Classic model in the future. Classic stood for the Galaxy Watch so far for a rotating bezel, which was quite reminiscent of a classic watch. That probably falls away.
Instead, there should be a Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro with a fairly large battery. Presumably, Samsung hits the nail on the head. I don’t think it makes sense to imitate the design of classic watches, as it has been tried again and again in recent years. Samsung is therefore on the right track in my eyes.
Samsung is planning the Galaxy Watch 5 for the summer. Hopefully by then the new Google Assistant for Wear OS will finally be ready.
